SUCCESS ON EVEREST !!!
On May 22nd, 2007 at 8.08 Nepalese-time (10.23 p.m. Toronto-time May 21st) Werner Berger realized his dream and stood on top of the world. The summit of Mount Everest (8,848 metres / 29,028 feet) was attained after an 11-plus hour climb that began at 9.30 p.m. on May 21st. For more details about Werner's experience on summit day click here.Werner is the oldest North American to have stood atop the summit of Everest, and we believe him to be the fourth oldest person in the world to have accomplished that feat. Werner is the oldest North American to have completed the 'Seven Summits'.
Werner returns to North America on June 2nd with stops in Los Angeles, New York and Philadelphia. He returns to Toronto on June 7th on an Air Canada flight from Philadelphia at 7.50 a.m. Anyone wishing to participate in Werner's return is welcome to join us at the airport Thursday morning!

Werner Berger was interviewed by Matt Lauer on The Today Show on Monday, June 4th.
